JOINT PAIN

Our Topical Pain Therapy is ideal for all forms of joint pain, whether the patient be young or old and suffering from acute or chronic joint pain.

About Joint Pain

Patients suffer from two types of joint pain: arthritis (inflammatory) and arthralgia (non-inflammatory).  Symptoms of joint pain may include, but are not limited to aching, swelling, and burning of the joint area.  The effects can range from a dull ache to debilitating pain.

In the past, NSAIDs (anti-inflammatories) were primarily prescribed orally for the treatment of joint pain.  However, NSAIDs being taken orally have a far greater risk of adverse side effects which may include serious gastrointestinal issues, severe cardiovascular episodes, and organ hepatoxis.

It is now known that topical NSAIDs provide the same relief with remarkably lower side effects and (when produced within a compound pharmacy) the ability to mold the dosage to every individual case’s needs, ensuring that a patient is receiving the most pain relief with the least amount of adverse effects.

Possible ingredients for topical joint relief pain creams are:  Ketamine, Flurbiprofen, Baclofen, Cyclobenzaprine, Tramadol, Clonidine, & Bupivacaine

NEUROLOGICAL PAIN

Nerve damage is a condition that effects millions of Americans every day. For some, the aggravation of nerve damage is small and manageable, for others it can prevent them from being able to work or even do basic tasks.

Nerve damage is caused by many variables, including:

  • Cancer

  • HIV

  • Diabetes

  • Shingles

  • Injury

  • Hormone Imbalance

  • Vitamin Deficiency

When a patient is suffering numbness and burning and sometimes even waves of electric shock due to nerve damage, it is imperative that physicians provide relief without adding injury. Many oral medications cause adverse effects such as hepatic toxicity, gastrointestinal bleeding, and can even cause extreme cardiovascular episodes.

Our Neurological Pain Creams have the ability to fight pain at its source without these side effects.

HighPoint Pharmacy has the ability to create a Neurological Pain Cream that is patient-specific, effective, and safe, increasing relief and lowering the risk.

MUSCULO-SKELETAL PAIN

Musculoskeletal pain refers to discomfort in the joints, ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and/or muscles.  The most common areas affected are the neck, lower back, shoulders and knees.  Causes can range from day-to-day activities to intense trauma, as well as symptoms of ailments such as tendonitis and myalgia.

The cause, location, and pain level of musculoskeletal pain has many variables.  At HighPoint Pharmacy, we have the ability to compound our Topical Musculoskeletal Pain Cream in direct correlation with these variables.  Our pain cream is effective, specific, and less invasive, without the added adverse effects of oral medications such as gastrointestinal issues, hepatic toxicity, and cardiac episodes.
